Making candy is a fun project for everyone young and old you only need a few things along with molds for your candy that are in different sizes and shapes. This project is easily done with just a few candy molds that can be made of silicone, plastics, aluminum or metal. The different shapes make it even more entertaining when you are working with children. Molds for candy are found online at a very reasonable price and all you need to add is a good hard candy recipe, baking pan, thermometer and a vegetable oil to have fun creating a delicious candy that can be eaten when you are done.

You need to make sure that when you are using molds that you know how much of your hard candy recipe go inside the mold and not over will fill.
